The Faroese film scene is still in its infancy, but it's growing up fast with the assistance of better, cheaper technology and the return of Faroese filmmakers like Sakaris Stora (pictured above).
Sakaris's short film "Summer Night" screened at the G! Festival last month, and it's also a selection in the HollyShorts festival in Los Angeles. On this week's podcast, we talk to Sakaris about coming home to the Faroe Islands after finishing film school, the challenges of making a movie in the Land of Maybe, and the emergence of a distinctively Faroese film style.
As always, you can listen to the show on our media player, on iTunes, on Stitcher Smart Radio, or on the No Agenda Live Stream.

And if you're in Los Angeles, you can see Summer Night tonight (August 22). It's screening at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Check out the HollyShorts website for details.
