On this week's show, we preview the Nordic Cool festival. The festival will be staged at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC starting later this month, and many Faroese artists will be participating. We'll talk to Guðrið Højgaard of Visit Faroe Islands about how the tourism board will be using the event to help spread the word about the Faroes to travel writers and bloggers.
Then we head out to the tiny village of Norðtoftir (pictured above, in its entirety) and try to figure out what, if anything, is going on in this tiny village that's home to (maybe?) six people.
As always, you can listen on our media player above, on iTunes, or you can download the show directly here: http://traffic.libsyn.com/faroepodcast/Podcast_163.mp3
We can also be heard on the No Agenda stream and on Stitcher Smart Radio.
