This week, we talk to Jon Beard about the Island Games, which will be held in Bermuda this July.
Then we check in briefly from the Nordic Cool Festival at the Kennedy Center, we'll hear up to three seconds of Eivor's performance, and get a preview of future shows.

Podcast 163: Nordic Cool Preview
On this week's show, we preview the Nordic Cool festival. The festival will be staged at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC starting later this month, and many Faroese artists will be participating. We'll talk to Guðrið Højgaard of Visit Faroe Islands about how the tourism board will be using the event to help spread the word about the Faroes to travel writers and bloggers.
Then we head out to the tiny village of Norðtoftir (pictured above, in its entirety) and try to figure out what, if anything, is going on in this tiny village that's home to (maybe?) six people.

We can also be heard on the No Agenda stream and on Stitcher Smart Radio.

Podcast 162: Everyday I Write The Book
This week, we talk to James Proctor. He wrote the Bradt Guide to the Faroe Islands, the only travel guide dedicated to the Faroes. He was in the Faroes last summer working on the third edition of the guide, and he took a break from his work to talk to us.
After that, we visit the village of Kaldbak and get lost in time and space for a few moments.
